All Of A Twitter
It's something I've always looked at and come away afterwards scratching my head in confused interest. Twitter is something I've never been sure about, being quite undecided whether or not the hype that surrounded it was deserved or not. So, as a bit of an experiment, I've gone and joined the dark side, so to speak, and grabbed myself an account there. While it's not my first choice of name (or second, as both of those seem to have gone to a couple of protected Twitter accounts), http://twitter.com/AshleyJSheridan suits me well enough. I'll be manually keeping this site and Twitter in synch with my updates for the next week or so, until I can find a bit of time to create some proper integration. This should give me a great opportunity though to really play about with the API it offers, as I don't feel I more than dipped my toes last time I used it.
Also, for anyone who's interested, I've written up a brief article on why the proposed HTML 5 spec is something all developers should learn and begin using in the near future. If it can convince at least one person, then I'll be satisified!
